Hazardous Waste Site Worker Training Program (40-hr class or 8-hr refresher)

HazMat Solutions has managed the investigation and remediation of many types of Chemical Hazardous Waste Sites for more than twenty years. This experience is essential for training Hazardous Waste Site Workers in methods for controlling hazardous substances as well as procedures to ensure the health and safety of other workers. This training exceeds the training requirements of the HAZWOPER regulation, 29 CFR 1910.120 paragraphs (b) through (o) covering hazardous waste site workers.

Each participant will don and doff chemical protective clothing and respiratory equipment and set up personnel and equipment decontamination stations. A thorough understanding of Hazardous Waste Site Safety Plans and the potential hazards at an uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Site will be stressed.

Air Monitoring, Hazard Identification, Hazardous Waste Handling, Manifest Completion and Disposal Classification Methods will be instructed by a Certified Hazardous Material Manager.
